What Zo Corp. reads, and what it never publishes
Zo Corp. reads your company before it says anything about it — the site, what is written about you, whatever is public. Then it writes down what it made of that, and shows you, and asks what it got wrong.
That question only works if you can answer it honestly. So here is exactly what happens to the answer.
Your words are recorded first, privately, with no model involved. Whatever
you write goes into FOUNDER.md verbatim, committed under your name, before
anything reads it or decides anything about it. That file is yours and Zo
Corp.'s. It is never part of the public record, it is not in the shareable
link, and nothing you write there can be published by any later step.
Only then is it weighed. A separate step asks one narrow question: does
what you said change the company's public description? If it does, that fact
goes into COMPANY.md, which is the file anyone with your link can read. If
there is any doubt, nothing changes — a sentence left in FOUNDER.md is still
read by every step that matters, and leaving it there costs nothing.
Some things are never promoted, however plainly you state them. A named person. A customer who left. Revenue, runway, a falling number. An investor. A fear. Anything about someone's performance. If a correction is tangled up with one of those, the fact is taken and the rest is left where you put it.
The asymmetry is the point. Getting this wrong in one direction means Zo Corp. knows something useful and does not advertise it. Getting it wrong in the other direction means publishing something you cannot take back. Only one of those is recoverable, so the system is built to fail in that direction every time.
